To welcome in 2026, I joined Grand Matter’s call to illustrate a simple but refreshing idea:  what if this year we focused a little less on fixing ourselves, and a little more on enjoying who we already are?

The New Year often arrives with pressure to reinvent ourselves, but with everything happening in the world, we figured most of us could use a break from all that striving. This piece carries a touch of humour and a lot of heart, celebrating tiny joys, quiet victories, and the everyday choices that make us feel good.
